“Impulse User” refers to any person visiting or using the Impulse Services. “Impulse Services” refers to all and any services provided by Impulse MPD, including Website and any services available on the same. “Impulse User Information” includes Account Information and Miscellaneous Information. “Website” refers to impulseinc.com.au “Impulse MPD” refers to Impulse Media Plus Design, a business registered under the laws of Australia.

At Impulse Media Plus Design, we understand the importance of the children’s privacy. We don’t knowingly collect any information from the children using this Website. Information Collection & Processing

As a service provider, Impulse MPD collects, uses, discloses and stores your information for provision of Services. Impulse User’s information will only be used for the provision of Impulse Services. Impulse MPD will store and use Impulse User’s information to enable Impulse MPD to create your User Account, authenticate Impulse User every time he/she logins, distinctly identify Impulse User to keep track of his/her use of Impulse Services, maintains the record of Impulse Users, provide this Website, maintain the security of Impulse system, compile statistics, collect location-based information, enforce Impulse Terms and Conditions and applicable laws of Australia, analyze user preference, user experience and show Impulse User with the customized content.

If any Impulse Visitor does not provide his/her information, he/she will not be able to create his/her User Account. However, such visitor can visit this Website and view publicly accessible content without creating his/her User Account. In case, any person visits this Website, Impulse MPD collects IP address and your browser history.

Impulse MPD may sometimes process and disclose Impulse User Information to protect the legitimate commercial interests of Impulse MPD, including, without limitation, for preventing frauds or reporting potential offences or for any administrative reasons.

Payment Information

While Impulse Users pay for Impulse Services, certain payment details is collected and shared with third party processor through encrypted communication channel. In no case Impulse MPD stores or process Impulse User’s payment details such as debit/credit card or any password or username. All information an Impulse User enters using a specified form is directly transferred to the third party processor.

Information Collection Method

A significant part of Impulse User Information is provided knowingly by the user themself. But Impulse MPD also uses technology based resources to obtain and collect Impulse User Information such as cookies, web beacons and other technologies. At the time of registration, Impulse MPD needs the following information from Impulse User which is referred as “Account Information”:

a. First and last name;

b. Username;

c. Email address; and

d. Country and zip code.

 

In addition, Impulse system automatically collect Impulse User’s IP address, login activity, browsing history, user preference, page to page navigation history, technical information about device or computer (“Miscellaneous Information”).

Impulse MPD show you an online form to be completed by Impulse User to obtain Account Information at the time you signup. Impulse MPD uses cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect Miscellaneous Information.

Disclosure & Processing

Impulse MPD uses, processes, shares and discloses the Account Information only on the need-to know-basis. In most cases, the Account Information is used and processed through Impulse System. In very rare cases, Impulse MPD may need to use and process the Account Information individually. In these cases,

Impulse MPD permits only trusted members of the staff who are legally bound by a valid agreement (i.e. non-disclosure agreement) to access and process Impulse User Information. Impulse MPD discloses Impulse User Information to any third party if it is reasonably required by the applicable laws of Australia or when Impulse MPD finds it appropriate to protect our legitimate commercial interests. To the extent provided hereunder, Impulse MPD doesn’t share, transfer, sell, or lease Impulse User Information with or to any third party.

Scope Of Information

THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES TO IMPULSE USER INFORMATION COLLECTED IN THE COURSE OF PROVIDING IMPULSE SERVICES AND DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY INFORMATION THAT AN IMPULSE USER MAKES PUBLICLY AVAILABLE OR ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THIS WEBSITE (i.e. publicly viewable reviews, comments, etc). IMPULSE USER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INFORMATION MADE PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE.

Security, Storage & Transfers

This Website is hosted and operated from hosting services located in Singapore, Asia and are subject to the laws of Singapore, Asia. The data protection laws provide data protection which is substantially equal to the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. The hosting services are owned and controlled by third party provider(s). The third party provider(s) uses the Impulse User Information only to the extent of storage and doesn’t process, use and transfer the same for any other purposes.

In case at any stage, Impulse MPD needs to transfer Impulse User Information from one third party providers to another or even from one jurisdiction to another jurisdiction, such transfer shall not be made to any jurisdiction the laws of which provides less protection to the Impulse User Information than that of the Australian laws. If the Impulse User is accessing this Website from EEC member countries and/or is resident thereof, he/she has special rights and privileges in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Impulse MPD uses our best efforts and employs physical, administrative and technology based measures and practices matching the industry standards to protect the Impulse User Information against any illegal and unauthorized access, breach, disclosure, misuse, alteration, theft, destruction, copy or process (“Illegal Access”). Impulse MPD retains Impulse User Information as long as Impulse MPD reasonably needs the same for provision of Impulse Services or as long as Impulse User cancels their User Account or request, as hereinafter provided, to erase the Impulse User Information from Impulse system.

GDPR & EEA User Rights

e. Provided details as to how Impulse MPD is using the Impulse User Information;

f. Request Impulse MPD to stop using Impulse User Information; and g. Withdraw Impulse User’s consent that he/she has given at the time of signup or otherwise. Such withdrawal will not amount to withdrawal ab-initio.

Change Of Ownership & Policies

If the ownership or control over Impulse MPD is transferred or sold, the successor will be bound to comply with the current commitments and contractual obligations or terminate the same by following lawful procedure. In the event of ownership transfer and change of any part of privacy practices, Impulse MPD will give then current Impulse Users a prior notice and sufficient opportunity to decide whether they are comfortable to use the Impulse Services under the changed policies and terms.

Governing Laws & Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any dispute arising from this Privacy Policy shall be resolved by the court having competent court.
